izak
So I got a Corsair Strafe Mechanical Keyboard today, and I noticed some odd things. A number of keys seem to be remapped to other (e.g. right shift is remapped to numpad 6, rightarrow to 34, as is numpad 4, and a couple more). When I use any other keyboard, this issue does not occur. I already tried updating all software and resetting the firmware, both did not help. When recording keys in the iCue software, it does not acknowledge them. So when I press rightshift, it records numpad 6. I have no idea why this is, anyone who had something similar before? c-attack
Do you mean these key remaps have actually been added into the Actions menu? Or the keys are outputting the wrong function all the time? If it is outputting the wrong key, does this still happen with CUE not running? izak
There are no remaps found in the actions menu, otherwise I could have just removed them. I also have tried even deinstalling cue, but this did not solve the problem.
c-attack
Spontaneous (and perpetual) generation of Actions is something we have seen before. That is a software side problem. If the keyboard is still doing this without CUE installed or not running, you likely need a hard reset/firmware flash or replacement. Both of those options need to be done through Corsair Support.
