SergiX44
Hi, I just recently took the Corsair Virtuoso RGB, but I'm having a problem with these: when they are connected wirelessly or usb (via usb-c) when there is silence and I'm not playing any sound you hear a static/white noise. This does not seem to happen with the jack. I've tried reinstalling icue and the drivers, changing settings on windows sound and icue, and even on a different pc but it behaves the same way. is it a known problem or is it just my faulty unit? Is there anything I can try? Thanks Edited November 8, 2020 by SergiX44
Corsair Employee Corsair Albert Posted November 10, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 10, 2020 Hi SergiX44, Is "Sidetone" enabled in your VIRTUOSO's iCUE settings? If it is, it may be worth trying to tune it down. It may also be worth attempting a soft reset: 1. Make sure your headset is currently unplugged. 2. Make sure your headset is powered on. 3. Hold the Mute button on the headset down for about 15 seconds. 4. Switch the headset off and then back on. 5. Test your headset and see if the issue is resolved. If neither of these remedy your issue, I suggest contacting our support team in the meantime by opening a ticket at https://help.corsair.com, they'll be able to help you out. SergiX44
Sorry for the late response, but I've tried to get a replacement of the pair but: Hi SergiX44, Is "Sidetone" enabled in your VIRTUOSO's iCUE settings? I've tried also the procedure you described but it didn't change anything. Also, another issue I'm getting only with the jack: when part of the audio I'm listening, go back in the microphone channel, so you can hear from the microphone what I'm listening. this is the second I take that has the same problems, the first one I had it replaced thinking they were a defect, but it behaves the same way. If you don't have anything I can try to solve I think I'll have to return this too ... Step#1 go to "Sound Settings" Step#2 https://prnt.sc/vhn9ip (Click on Device Properties) Step#3 https://prnt.sc/vhna08 (If Spatial Sound is off change it to "Windows Sonic for Headphones") This helped remove that white noise/static Thanks also for your reply, i've tested sadly didn't change anything once again.
