Looking for a cable to connect my RM650 power supply to my SeaGate 2TB Hard Drive

Hi there,

 

I'm sorry to ask this question, I've hunted around looking for the cable I'm after. However my main concern is of course it not being the right cable and my whole system going up in smoke literally.

 

I found the cable that would definitely connect the two devices but the reviews are less than positive to say the least.

I am very new to working on my own pc and am terrified things could go wrong. Any advice or possibly if Corsair has spare cables I could purchase that would be great.

Ah thanks for this I knew corsair sold cables however the angle of the picture made me concerned it wasn't a PCI-E connection.

SATA power is always on the SATA/PATA connectors on the PSU.. so you can technically take any type 3 or type 4 SATA cable from corsair catalogue and it will work.
