BSNB
7600k. ICUE is using 28-32% cpu Everything is up to date. Not using any macros, but just using icue so my page back/forward buttons on mouse work.... Any way to fix this?
c-attack
That's way out of bounds. Go to Windows Settings -> Apps and click on Corsair iCUE. Select Modify and follow the prompts for a repair install. This sometimes cleans up weird issues or driver install problems. If your CPU commit is that high, the program is probably fighting with something. That's not normal program load.

BSNB
Did the repair and now icue is using 5.3 to 7.4% cpu.
c-attack
I think that is probably about right at the moment for a 4 core CPU.
BSNB
Just checked it again and it is back up to 32%.... Closing and reopening icue is the only solution and it doesn't last long.... Issue after issue with icue.... I am done with anything that requires icue...
c-attack
Are you sitting on the Keyboard lighting tab when this happens? That tab more than any of the others will use a lot more CPU resources as it illustrates the lighting pattern across the 100+ keys. While my CPU usage is low, it will got up 3-4x that level if I sit there watching the keyboard lighting in the app. No other page is quite so heavy, but there is no reason to keep CUE open to that unless you are working on the lighting arrangement. I feel like you're trying to justify this crap software's cpu usage. So i'll make it very clear. Everything is up to date. I did a fresh, clean install of icue. I have no other software that does anything related to what icue does. When icue is using 28-32% cpu it is minimized in the tray. I shutdown icue, even try restarting the computer. I do not open icue or use for anything other than to get my corsair mouse's page forward/backward function. And this issue still pops up requiring icue to be restarted... So no... There is literally nothing I am doing as a user to cause this. Icue is glorified bloatware. Now if anyone has a suggestion on how to get my corsair ironclaw's page forward/backward buttons to work without icue I am all ears.

No, but I’m not sitting over your shoulder watching what you are doing. You’ve provided no context for your situation. All we can do is ask questions and hope the user provides something to work with. It’s fairly easy to assign other actions to the mouse 4/5 buttons. I am sure you will figure it out.
