Arodna
Is there a way to make a button switch to a profile when held, and switch back to the original profile on release? So if I were to press and hold the profile switching button, while I have this button held I would be in the second profile but the second I release the profile switching button, it would snap back to the original profile. c-attack
Yes. 1) Add a new Action (+) 2) Change it from Macro to Profile switching. 3) Change "switching mode" to Direct Profile Selection 4) Pick your switch to profile from the drop down list 5) Tick the "while pressed" box 6) Assign to a key Don't press the assign to all profiles in the same folder button unless you really mean to. The last time someone asked this I unintentionally clicked it. Still picking those out of 50 some profiles. So I did this and I found that it doesn’t snap back to the original profile after I release the button. Is this a bug or something? I’m on the version ending in .
c-attack
That may be the case. The Actions panel has been a mess since 3.33 and I am working 4-5 different versions right now. This is a problem that has been identified, but I don't think you will see it fixed until 3.35. The steps above will work, but possibly not on the either of the two 3.34 versions. Have Corsair said when the 3.35 update will be? Also could you tell me which version your solution works on?
c-attack
They follow a pretty regular schedule with one release per month. It's likely at least 2 more weeks until 3.35. The above directions should work on all versions. It's unclear exactly what is preventing in on 3.34.xx. The bug in 3.33 was fairly wide spread with any other key input interrupting the Action. So in theory you press and hold the down arrow to change to Profile B, but as soon as you click the mouse or type a key it will snap you back. I suspect that is going to be a problem. Last known good version is 3.32. Remember if you roll back, you can't take your current setting and profiles with you. You have to set it up as new and check the option to delete user settings on uninstall. That might not be too bad if you have Exported profiles from v.3.32 or before. v3.32 http://downloads.corsair.com/Files/CUE/iCUESetup_3.32.80_release.msi Edited November 3, 2020 by c-attack
