Warluck
Bonjour, I had a freaking badluck where I broke one of my G switch. It is only the top of the slider that broke, part of it still in the keycap! I would like yo avoid the crazy glue, for obvious reason but I still want to fix this. To replace the switch slider, do I need to dismantle the entire keyboard or can I do that from the top of the keyboard? Anyone done that ? Thanks for you help! Corsair Employees Corsair Haurjie Posted October 27, 2020 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 27, 2020 Hi Warluck, Unfortunately, we don't have specific key switch component replacements based on manufacturing. May I ask how you broke the slider?
Warluck
I got a problem with my desk and the corner of my monitor hit the G2 key and broke the tip of the slider. By What I have looked on the internet, I shoud be able to remove the top of the switch without having to dismantle the keyboard, provided I can get my hand on a MX Brown switch (and the little tool to get the top cap off, of course).
