nagopaye
So I have the CMR16GX4M2C3466C16 memory set, and as you can see it's meant to work at 3466Mhz. Well, I can't even get it stable at 3066Mhz. My motherboard is the Asus Prime X370 Pro, and I have a Ryzen 1700 CPU. I've already tried changing basically every setting in my bios, nothing works. Help please! Oh, and it was even on the QVL of the motherboard... the best list of porn sites on the net at the moment absolutely free https://pornsiteslist.me Edited May 27, 2021 by nagopaye
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted October 20, 2020 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 20, 2020 The integrated memory controller on the Ryzen 1000 series CPUs was pretty much maxed out at 3000mhz on the memory speed. This is widely known and even AMD acknowledged this issue with the memory controller used on Zen and Zen+.
c-attack
As above. 3000 Mhz was a pretty firm ceiling at that point. Officially, the specifications for your MB stop at 3200 on Asus' site. However, I have no idea what they are doing with the Memory QVL list. There is a huge number of kits between 2133 and 3000 as expected, but then are a handful of kits at 3600-4133. 4133 with a 1000 series AMD on a x370? That's crazy. There is a separate list of 2000 series, but 4133 is off the chart for that too. The kit you listed above is not on the list, but that's likely not the problem. Try manual settings at 3000 or below.
