ann1h1031
I have two sticks of 512 XMS 3200 DDR memory. I bought the sticks about two years ago. One stick is still fully operational, but the second stick is broken. I was having random intermittent reboots, so I decided to run a MEMTEST to check the memory. On the first try, with both sticks in, the memory failed the test. On a second try, after removing one stick, the test failed. On a third try, after removing the stick that produced the errors, and replacing it with the other stick, I recieved no errors from the MEMTEST. I would like to have the stick replaced, unless I am missing something that could cause the error. All settings between the two sticks are identical, and one performs, while the other fails. Please Help! Or point me to the direction of where I need to go to get this RAM replaced. Thanks in advance for the information.

ann1h1031
Asus a7n8x2.0 AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Part # CMX512-3200LLPT XMS3200 512MB 400MHz XMS3205v1.1 I'm not sure what other information you are looking for. Let me know where it should be located, and I'll be more than happy for provide it. I ran the MEMTEST with each single stick in the same slot. Only producing the error from one stick. Then I removed them and tried both sticks separatly in a different slot, the error once again occured from the same stick. Thanks in advance for the help. Please also let me know if I should go ahead and try to go through the RMA process. Thanks. Jeff
