hruskacha
The USB Dongle for my Void Pro RGB headset is creating another instance of itself in device manager for every usb port its plugged into... How can I prevent this? It is causing audio playback issues regardless if I have it selected as default output in Windows 10.
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted October 12, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 12, 2020 Try performing a clean install of iCUE following the article below, and see if that resolves the issue: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE- I recommend backing up your profiles first before performing the procedure so you don't lose any of them. hruskacha
Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, Uninstalling iCUE did not resolve the issue. I remember fixing this in the past by uninstalling the device in device manager, followed by a reboot and reinsertion of the dongle in the desired port. But that did not stop it from reinstalling itself for each usb port it is plugged into. I think this is an OS issue, not a dongle / headset issue.
