Yes I am on AMD. so far I just have the RGB hub connected to the commander pro and on the commander core I have 6 fans connected to it as well as their RGB cables.

ok. seems there has been issues with some later gen AMD boards and the Commander Pro's USB hub (i believe AMD are currently looking into USB issues also), the solution is to get one of the NZXT internal USB hubs. users such as your self have seen success by throwing one into the mix

Click for NZXT USB Hub

Ok so when I get the nzxt hub do I just put the the internal usb cable from the

Commander core into as well as the power supply

pretty much... the hub lets you connect up to 5 usb devices.. 3 internal and 2 external

Ok thanks for the help. I just ran into another issue don't if here the place for it, but one of the LEDs on a fan is not working or is only lighting up white.

Just finished a new build in a Lian Li o11D XL. 10 fan setup (QL120) with a Capellix H150i AIO. I tried following the pinned 10 RGB fan diagram left by Zotty, as I'm utilizing the Commander pro, CoCo, and am also using one of the Lighting Node Cores connected to "USB" of the Commander Pro. From the diagram, it seems as if there's an RGB LED hub connected to the "LED" connection of the Commander pro? I'm assuming with my current configuration the Commander Core won't be recognized in iCUE? I get a message once I boot up prompting me for a firmware update of the CoCo, http://imgur.com/A4WHJPW.png and it's not even recognized http://imgur.com/JfWWrtL.png When I go in to settings in iCUE to update, I can see the CoCo,http://imgur.com/GDnoiUQ.png but I get an error message that the firmware update wasn't completed. http://imgur.com/L0YuoUf Does anyone know if connecting the CoCO directly to the USB of the Commander pro causes this, or if possibly the CoCo is faulty? Any help appreciated. http://imgur.com/a/j5ewsSK

Hey bud.... this may be related to the platform you are using. some later gen AMD motherboard platforms are forcing people to use the NZXT usb hub to get past this... see the posts above yours.

is this fan causing bad effects on fans after it on the hub?

I just got the hub now and have yet to install it. So far it's just the one fan with with the led not working.

Update: Installing the hub mainly fixes the issue I was having with the fan now it only happens after waking the computer after it went to sleep.

Evening All!

Apologies If this is repeated But am going to be starting a new build In the next Week (Got The Parts In and wanted to double check myself) - Specs Above

With the 5000x RGB Case and the 150 Elite - I should have 6 Fans i can plug into the COCO for both Power and RGB and they should work fine correct?

I wanted a 7th Fan For an Exhaust So i picked up an ML120 Pro since as i understand it - Nether of the types of fans included in the case or the cooler can be purchased separately yet. I guess 2 questions for this- 1) was the ML120 Pro the "Best" Choice in this situation? 2) If i use a PWM Splitter and RGB splitter cable Mentioned on Page 1 - I should be able to run the 7th Fan as an Exhaust even if the lighting will be a little off since it only has 4 leds?

If i wanted to Fill All 10 fan slots down the line - I know would have to pick up 3 more fans and a Commander Pro and follow Zottys Diagram. I guess same question as above in regards to the "Best" Choice fans to match the fans that already come with the case and cooler? I really dont want to have to rebuy 10 Fans of the same type If i can avoid it.

Thank you!

not as of right now... the SP pro would match for LED count, but they are not PWM. meaning the Commander Core Cant control them...

Hi Mate, Maybe you can help me with this.

They can't control the fan speed but will it work as is? Meaning the speed will constantly run at full speed? I only need it for 1 exit at the back and 2 front intakes. Do you think my plan will work? As I have the h100i and still have 4 spare slots to add some fans. I opted for SP 120 at the back and 2 SP 140 at the front. Do you think I can make it work with regards to RGB sync. Never mind the fan speed as long as I can control the fan speed for the radiator.

Or what's the best-recommended fan that I can get that will work with Coco with no hassle? Just plug and play.

Hi bud.

Yeah.. they would run at full speed i am afraid. as for the fan closest to the SP fans for RGB. .. ML RGB fans are as close as it gets... 4 central mounted LED's

Thanks Mate, already ordered the SP 120. Hope it's not that loud, otherwise I'll have to change it with the ML. Planning to use it as an air exit at the back then add 2 more intakes at the front.

Let us know how it works out!

I just finished up my build last night and using the ML 120 PRO for Exhaust with Splitters for Power and RGB off the rearmost Fan for the H150 Elite ( I top Mounted It) - The Fan is running at the nice slower speed as the others and honestly - its hard to tell its not the same Led count as the others at first glance - really have to stare to tell the difference on something like rainbow.

I am happy for now until corsair releases 8led PWM fans we can buy to fill up the rest of the tower.

Hi Mate, as expected. The fans are running at full speed. Good thing it's under my desk. I can really hear the humming of the fans. At the moment I have 1 SP120 and 1 SP140.

My question now is. what controller do I need so I can control the fan speed of the SP fans while merging with the Coco. With regards to RGBs, well they're spot on.

You could either run them from Motherboard Headers but you would have to control them via bios or motherboards software or if you wanted control in iCUE then look at the Commander Pro maybe?

Hi all, my girlfriend recently built a new pc and purchased the H100i Capellix in white (240mm) and everything booted however we're having issues with the cooler. The fans and pump were blinking red upon startup, and in iCUE it states that an "unknown device" is connected. We've tried different USB headers on the mobo but the problem persists. The fans do run and the pump is also running, as the CPU temps have been consistently at 30-40C and the speeds are displayed in iCUE. Seeking urgent help!

Specs:

NZXT H510 Elite

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 3060ti

ASUS X570-PRIME PRO

H100i Capellix 240

Corsair 750w SM PSU

Thank you

I just installed the 150i and replaced three of the SP120RGB fans included with my case. Where can I buy 2 more of the ML120RGB fans that come with the AIO? Everything I see online is the 4 LED variant. I'd like to get the matching 8 LED fans.

Thanks!

P.S. I replaced the RGB controller that came with the Crystal 570X case and am now using both the Commander Core and a Commander Pro. No known issues so far other than not being able to control the 2 other SP120RGB lighting with my current setup (expected). Just FYI for anyone curious.

This may not be the right thread for this, but it is relevant to the Elite Capellix.

I replaced an old Corsair H60 AIO with the 150i Capellix and when I benchmarked, my CPU temps shot to 99C across all cores at idle. I immediately shut down and removed the pump block to find that the OEM thermal paste made no contact with the CPU. Figured out that I forgot to switch the standoffs from the H60 to the new ones. Compared the old vs. the new standoffs and found that they were less than 1MM different, but that was enough to cause bad/no contact. I removed the OEM thermal paste and used some Arctic MX4 I had on hand and exchanged the standoffs and that solved everything.

Thanks for the Feedback buddy.. not something i had spotted... will add it to the device specs in first post here :)
