Hi I am planning to buy A new case for my PC, which is the iCue 5000x. I have the h115i Elite Capellix, An I am planning to buy 1 x Ml120 Triple Fan pack, 1 x Ml120 Single. So with The included 3x120ml SP Rgb elite fans, I will have 9 Fans.

Will there be no issues if I use the commander core that came with the AIO and plug All the ML Fans (total if 6), and keep the Sp RGB elite Fans plugged into the Commander core/PWM splitter That came.with the case?

I assume I will be needing 2 usb 2 headers and use 2 Sata from PSU, for the CoCo from (1)AIO and from the (2)case?

I really need help with wiring, as I've been dealing with RGB stutter and computer being laggy/slow when idle and in games...

Cabinet is Lian Li O11 Razer edition with RGB, so it's a USB header.

I have 6x Corsair QL120 fans

1x Corsair H150i Elite Cappellix

1x Commander Core

1x Commander Pro

1x RGB Hub

QL120 fans is wired to Commander Pro and RGB hub. RGB Hub USB is in Commander Pro. Commander Pro is in USB on MOBO

AIO Cooler is wired with Commander Core, commander core is on a USB extension splitter with the USB from the case and on the MOBO.

I'm still having issues with it and been having last 5 months... Can someone help out please.

My AM4 bracket does not fit. It feels loose when you clip it on. As soon as I try to attach to the board it comes apart. Have spent hours at this.

The bracket from the h115i fits it more tight. You can feel it in place. Not sure I can use it with this though. I have no idea what to do.

Currently sitting with no pc. Notice someone else posted with the exact same issue

I have the three included MLs and one LL120 connected to the commander core.

iCUE sees four fans for RGB control, but only three fans for PWM control. The fan is fine when not connected to the core. I've tried other ports on the core with no success.

Am I doing something wrong? This is feeling weird that corsair's own current high-end products don't seem to actually work very well together.

I see now from Amazon reviews that this is a known issue. Any chance of a response from Corsair before I need to strip down everything to send it back?

Returned for refund as not compatible. 1 star review left for the hours it wasted

hi guys! I am planning to change my Case to a 5000x, I do have the H115i elite capellix. will it cause no issue if i mix the ML140mm cappelix fans with the Sp120 rgb elite fans?

ML Capellix fans are 8 leds and pwm, and sp120 elites are also 8 led and pwm.

if there are no issues then I'll pickup another Sp120 elites 3pack and a single fan for the back.

Hi, I currently have the following setup:

- iCue H150i Elite Capellix AIO

- 1x Commander Core

- 3x ML RGB fans that came with the AIO

- 6x QL RGB fans

I also have these additional components:

- 2x Lighting Node Core

- 1x Commander Pro

From what I can gather from reading a lot of forum posts, there are 2 ways of setting this up.

Setup 1:

- Connect the 3x ML fans LED+PWR to the Commander core.

- Connect the 6x QL fans LED to Lighting Node Core, and the PWR with splitters to the Commander Core.

- Connect the Lighting Node Core to a USB header on the motherboard.

For this setup I've read some conflicting posts about the power draw, will that be too much on the Commander Core?

Setup 2:

- Connect the 3x ML fans LED+PWR to the Commander Core

- Connect the 6x QL fans LED to the Lighting Node Core, and the PWR to a Commander Pro

- Connect the Lighting Node Core USB header to the Commander Pro.

Are both these setups viable or will they not work?

If they both work, is there an advantage to using one or the other?

For a more detailed overview I've attached my own diagrams.

Hi Zotty

Thanks heaps for your guides and assistance in these forums ... much appreciated!

I have Lewis G's profiles, and only the RAM and keyboard light up ... none of my QL's (on the H150i Elite, and also on a separate Lighting Node Core light up). I have:

[*]

  • 5000D Airflow
  • H150i Elite
  • 7 x QL120's (6 of them on the H150i Commander Core, 1 on a Commander Pro via a Lighting Node Core into a CoPro)
  • 3 x ML120 RGB's (these are the ones that came with the H150i - I have them in push/pull on the radiator, also on the LNC via a CoPro)
  • Dominator Platinum RAM (White)
  • K70 keyboard,
  • M65 Mouse
  • The latest iCue 4.10I think it is ...

From a lighting perspective the H150i Elite CoCo handles the three front QL fans, and the 3 QL's on the underside of the rad. The Commander Pro with Lighting Node handles the RBG for the QL120 rear exhaust, and the 3 x ML's in pull on top of the radiator. Hopefully that wiring makes sense, happy to revisit though ... The Coco is in one usb header on my Asus X570-e Gaming, and the CoPro is on another. One usb header on the CoPro goes to the LNC.

The very latest Cyberpunk profiles work brilliantly on everything. The older profiles - some work, some dont (eg Nuclear, Titanium, Brimstone). iCue crashes on import for some of them. For others (eg Cobalt), it half worked and then I copied/pasted the lighting effects to the other devices - then the whole profile worked. I cant copy and paste the effects in other profiles thought

With Metro Exodus (and with SDK enabled), only the keyboard, mouse and RAM light up as expected. None of the fans light - maybe the pump head does ... that's it. Far Cry 5 is exactly the same. I'm on the latest iCue, and all devices have the latest firmware.

Reading the internet, is seems like the profiles (or SDK) are not aware of the very latest products (eg QL fans, H150i Elite). I cannot see any way of editing the games profile (I actually cant find it anywhere), and I cant see if/where to import.

Any tips on how to resolve these issues? Should I revisit how the RGB is wired?

Cheers

Hey Zotty

I am wondering if my profile and SDK issues are caused by how I've wired the RGB?

I am thinking of moving the 3 xML's and 1 x QL to the CoCo (I think I can mix and match fan types on the CoCo/H150i Elite). I would then put 6 x QL's on the LNC connected to the CoPro. I have the CoCo on one internal Mobo USB header, and the CoPro on another. The LNC connects to the CoPro. I have a spare USB header on the CoPro, so could plug the CoCo into that (?).

Also, wondering if this is related to the bloody X570 AMD USB issues - Asus's mobo updates dont really seem to address this.

Getting closer, but no cigar yet! Funnily enough, the Metro Exodus SDK profile has started to work better (I dont know why) ... the QL's on the CoCo now work, but the ML's on the Co Pro dont ...

Hmmm!

I am looking at adding an Corsair H115i Elite Capellix to replace a H115i. Currently with the H115i I use a Commander Pro to control my Corsair HD fans/RGB. Given my system it would be much easier to allow the Commander Pro to remain in control of the 4 fans I use in push/pull config on the H115i. It appears that I cannot directly connect the pump from the corsair h115i elite capellix to the USB header so I will need to install the commander core to allow USB control of the pump/pump RGB. Will this work ok? I see no reason why it would not.

If I do it this way in ICUE 4.11 will I be able to set my fans from my cooler attached to the Commander Pro (not Core) to the temp of corsair h115i elite capellix?

Hey buddy :) .

yes that should work ok, looking at your PC specs.. intel based.. its should all hook up just fine.. some AMD platforms have seen issues with devices connected to the Commander Pro's USB headers not showing up.. you shouldnt see that :)

I have an issue getting all my fans lit w/out the use of the 2 port LED Lighting Node Pro. I have the 360mm Capellix AIO w/ an additional 6 LL fans. The top 3 and side 3 fans are connected to the commander core and the bottom 3 fans are connected to the RGB hub. The commander core & RGB hub are connected to the commander pro but only 2 fans on the RGB hub light up. If I connect the lighting node pro into the mix all 3 will lit up. Every video I've seen shows people connecting 9 plus fans w/ out the need for the Lighting Node Pro but I'm unable to achieve this. I verified all fans do work so does all ports on the RGB hub. I'm attaching a pic of my wiring setup, is there something I'm doing wrong?

I have a H115 Elite Capellix, I am very happy with the thermal performance.

I have added 2 fans in push-pull and set the stock fans to Zero-RPM mode and the additional fans to Quiet mode. All is good under normal usage, but when I lock the computer (Control+Alt+Del + Lock) then all the fan goes to full speed (and crazy noisy)

Is it just me or is it is the proper behavior?
