Toastface87 Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 So after 4 weeks, I have finally have my replacement dongle for my Virtuoso, after the firmware was bricked. 1- I have been sent the SE version, which seems fine but Icue recognise it as a different headset to the standard (the one I have) 2- I have tried uninstallling the drivers, but so far I have been unable to get the thing to pair. Dongle firmware is 16.80 but now the headset firmware is showing ? 3- If I have waited all this time and its not actually fixed I am going to kill myself in minecraft. Toastface87 Posted September 25, 2020 Author Share Posted September 25, 2020 For reference- The dongle only shows as SE (In the RMA emails I was clear what headset I have>) So regardless, my current headset won't pair with the new dongle somehow, which seems utterly stupid. Some workaround would be amazing, otherwise I might as well just buy a new headset from Amazon (or lose out on £150), and send them back the older dongle for all the good your own support have been. A 5 minute web chat with Amazon and they are just sending me a whole new Headset next-day. Seems a massive waste considering its just bricked firmware, but im not complaining.
