gangel
Hi everyone, a few weeks ago i heard a ticking from my comp, I thought it was the rear 140mm fan so went to replace after cleaning it and found that it was the pump for my H100i I tried a few things and ended up changing iCue to EXTREME for the pump and when it gets over 2500rpm for the pump the noise goes away. If i drop down to low 1950rpm the ticking comes back. I didnt thnk it was best to run this on extreme forever... so is this a warranty issue and is failing or what else can I try? It is 100% the pump, no HDD in this comp and i can put my ear near it and hear it.
Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted September 11, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 11, 2020 Hey gangel, if you've isolated it to the pump, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support team so they can help look into this a little more with you. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Messiah Complex
I had this problem also a while back, Though I bought mine probably 5 years ago. Turned out solid particulate was forming in the pump and fins of mine, I hope thats not the case for yours.
