mrshrir
what are we going to do with these new 3000 series cards which are MASSIVE, i mean i know you get an extra cm if you vertically mount, however due to the thickness of these coolers, i dont even know if they will fit, even regular 2080s were up on the glass, i measured and have gotten about 315mm with just barely room to spare horizontally, and by the look of some builds online, the longest card anyone has fit in a 680x, is the MSI TRIO, at 324mm. i know fora fact that one of the GALAX 3080 cards exceeds 330mm , thoughts ? LeDoyen
well, since the front fans do virtually nothing because of the glass, i wouldn't have any problem removing one or two to fit a long card. Founders card would benefit more from bottom to top airflow anyway. But since the reference design PCBs (and the FE for that matter) are not really bigger than previous generations, it's not an issue when watercooling. For people using air coolers tho, i understand the concern. It's a very narrow case.
mrshrir
Ive seen 680build with a MSI TRIO X, its about 32cm long, i mean it fits, im guessing as long as a card is no longer than 31.5cm it should be fine .
