Hi there,

I recently decided to add 2 new fans to my case and to do that I purchased the Commander Pro and a second rbg hub. I installed both and all connections are secure. When I powered on the system the 2 fans that i connected to the new hub are not lighting up. Just wondering do I need to activate the second Hub or could it be a dodgy rgb hub. Thanks.

Make sure you have designated the number of fans and the fan type in the Commander panel in CUE for lighting Channel #2. However, they still should have lit up on the first boot before CUE loaded.

Swap fans 1-2 on the new RGB hub. The lighting is serial, so it's possible fan #1, LED #1 is the problem. That said, you usually get some lighting and not full off.

Try a different SATA connector for the RGB hub. If you get a SATA ribbon with too many things pulling on the 5v rail, you ma have weird consequences. However, it would be strange for 1 to be full brightness and the other off, so chances are this is a dodgy RGB hub.
