karlos103 Posted September 9, 2020 Share Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) Hi all . Just got 6 Corsair iCUE QL120 RGB fans and 2 QL140 RGB fans . I have the 6 120mm fans going into 1 of the nodes that come with the kit and the 2 140mm fans connected to the other node out of the other kit … had 2 kits of 3 fans and 1 node in each . Now i have connected each node to a usb header splittr as only have 1 usb header left on my motherboard . When open software it shows the 2 nodes. When i try altering something it changes all fans… but not really had chance to figure software out . What want to know is it ok what i have done using 2 nodes on 1 usb header via a splitter ? By the way ...im using the little blue usb header splitter( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B075XR1Q75 ) ...non powered ...is that not good using without extra power to splitter like on the NXT one ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01IFGFTJ2/ ) Any help most appreciated.
