GoruchyBuilder
Excuse my ignorance but I am wondering if there is the option to dim the brightness level of Corsair's RGB fans in iCue (I'm most specifically curious about this feature with the QL120 fans, if that matters). For context, I have yet to build my system. I'm still waiting for system parts to arrive and I have not used iCue software before. I have seen many examples of the QL120 and other Corsair RGB fans varying the brightness level as they display pulsing patterns of light, but in all of the videos I've seen of the iCue software in action I haven't seen a brightness adjustment control anywhere. I'm hoping there is a way to adjust the total brightness level of all fans regardless of whatever RGB pattern is being played. Thank you,
Chris1987
Moin, If you connect your fan to the Commander and the rgb hub then you can adjust the brightness via the Commander see my picture marking.
c-attack
There is a brightness slider in the setting menu for your lighting controller, but it is a fairly rudimentary 1-2-3 position switch. It will also be applied globally to anything connected to the controller. For more precise control, try using the color intensity slider for specific colors, although that will not work for preset effects.
GoruchyBuilder
Thank you both for your replies. About a month from now I hope to have my system built and will play around with iCue then. Good to know there is some level of control over the brightness, although it sounds like Corsair could make some improvements in that area.
