Sam2000
The sound on my new HS45s that came today is working, but the microphone will not for the life of it be detected by windows. I have the audio jack plugged into the provided USB port and it is plugged into my machine fully. The microphone is plugged into the headset, it does not show in any device manager or even in the available microphone options where it says: "No microphone detected" Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried reinstalling the driver but no luck.
Sam2000
This definitely is not a issue with the headset itself, it works fine in an xbox controller
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted September 4, 2020 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 4, 2020 Sounds like windows is not properly installing the driver for the Recording/Input side of the headset. Even just the dongle connected (no headset) Windows should install and detect both Input and Output. Try performing a firmware update under the settings tab of iCUE for the headset. If you continue to run into issues, I recommend reaching out to our Technical Support staff through the link below: https://support.corsair.com
