Hotrod
Hi all I remember years ago that Corsair's products were all proudly Made in the USA which was a major selling point to me - what happened? I imagine the first excuse is "cost" yet production of DDR-RAM is most automated and automatic so "actual" labour is minimal at best, and how can Corsair guaranteed the quality of non-US made products? Corsair Employees Corsair CJ Posted September 2, 2020 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 2, 2020 You are correct, there was a time when we did assemble our modules in the US and eventually we did move the process over to our Taiwan assembly facility. The same quality control processes we had back then are still in place along with our very manual high-speed IC screening process (where we test and bin each IC individually). Having facilities in Taiwan also helps us to work more efficiently with motherboard partners (who are primarily based in Taiwan) so we can contribute to board-specific BIOS settings, XMP, and work more closely with their memory validation teams for motherboards as they are developed.
