VSpecII
So today my memory arived from a sale on eBay. 1GB (2x512) of Platinum Series XMS4400 (TCCD w/ BrainPower PCB, ofcourse). At the stock timings of 2.5-4-4-8, but at a 1:1 ratio (400MHz), it posted but would not pass SuperPi 1M, Sandra memory bandwidth, and promptly crashed within minutes. As I have a sinlge chanell system (the rest of the system is a 3400+ ClawHammer [CG], and a GigaByte K8NS Pro), I tried each individually. One stick was able to say up and running about twice as long as the other, but obviously thats still a problem. Neither was able to pass SuperPi either. I thought for a minute it might be too low, but it wouldn't post above 245 HTT. Finally just to see if it was the rest of the system, I tried my old Kingston HyperX (KHX3200AK2/1G), and boom: 11x250, no problems. I read the warentee information, and read it wasn't supported from sales from other end-users. Is there anything I can do though, at all? Not limited to Corsair Memory, but to the guy who sold me it, or anything else I could do to get anything back.
