drogers
The purpose of this post is to request an RMA per the instructions on the Corsair Web site. I am very sure one of the two Corsair PC 3200 RAM modules that I have been running since last Fall has failed. I am sure it failed because I tested it by swapping it with the other (good) module twice. I concluded the repeated Blue Screens of Death I was getting were because of the module having failed. Also, the repeated and somewhat random error messages indicated a RAM problem, particularly a message that advised the CPU had encountered a physical error. My computer runs perfectly now, and has run perfectly for a couple of weeks since I took the failed RAM module out of the system. I swapped it back in today, for one final test, and got a Blue Screen of Death just after boot. That finalized it. I put the good module back in, took the failed one out, and my machine is running perfectly again. The task force I work with bought about 40 of these modules last fall and I think this is the only one that has failed. The module is: Corsair PC3200 CM72SD1024RLP-3200/M 0426070-0 PC3200R-3330-Z1 Please provide me with an RMA number.
