logos007
I have the 1GB dual module kit (2x512) and my system has been running very unstable. I am running the memory at the SPD settings. I ran memtest on both sticks and individually on 2 different motherboards (both either dual channel or twin bank setups), one for AMD and the other for Intel. On both boards the memory tests bad as a pair or as individuals. So, how do I go about getting these modules replaced? logos007
Wired
What CPU / FSB / Motherboard do you have? What is the exact part # and revision # of your memory? How To Read the Memory Label If you have more than one stick: Is it a TwinX pack? If not, what is the revision # of each stick? Did you test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+? logos007
Boards: Asus P5P800 Asus K7N8X Deluxe CPU's: P4 3.4GHz (800FSB) (running memory at 400MHz) Semperon 2400+ (333FSB) (running memory at 333MHz) Tried Both Sticks in the recomended slots (Per Manufacturers - ASUS - Recomendations) for proper single stick functions. Ran Memtest total of 3 times on each board. I used the latest version of memtest 86+ (rev. 3.2) The two sticks came in a kit (one single package). They are matched in model number (VS512MB400) and lot number (0451051-0). I checked that before I decided to add a post. Thanks, logos007
