Actually I forgot we need the SPD output to give us the ram timings in nanoseconds. In Thaiphoon after reading SPD click the report button and the view will change and give you additional data in nanoseconds. Screenshot that. Reset to BIOS defaults. Install sticks on A2 & B2 Before we go and try to apply all settings from DRAM calc, Can you successfully post with the following settings...? I didn't expect you to plug in the timings yet cause I was going to get to that in a future step. I have the same IC's as you (but different config) and DRAM calc didn't do so well predicting the timings needed. Before setting timings explicitly I want to know if you can run windows and observe a successful frequency change. Put all your timings back to AUTO (but keep the settings I just previously gave you). Bump your frequency to DDR4-2933 and reboot. If you can post and run windows get screenshot from CPUz memory tab. Well shoot something is defiantly not behaving as expected with your setup. Have you performed a Clear CMOS yet (or ever)? Do that and retry my suggested settings. It could be motherboard or cpu or ram or simply the combination of it all but without umpteen spare parts to test with you'll never get to the bottom of which one is the problem. If you still cannot get anywhere after Clear CMOS and another attempt after that perhaps open a ticket with Corsair. Maybe they will be willing to exchange your RAM with a different set. You have ones with micron chips, perhaps they will be willing to exchange with ones with a different IC's instead at the same speed. Worth a try anyway. Or just get a new set online - one with a lot of good reviews by Ryzen Zen+ (series 2000) owners. If you have a local microcenter or bestbuy (or other) and are able to return the memory if it doesn't work, that might be a good option to try. There is no way to return the ram, but I like to narrow down the problem before I try RMA. Otherwise, it could be just a waste of time to RMA a perfectly good ram Without enough hardware to test against it's difficult to say. All your parts may be good but the combo of it all doesn't jive for some reason. It's possible your CPU got a dud IMC? It's possible your board is bad somehow? It possible your ram is defective? Maybe you have a bad flash and that's why your BIOS isn't behaving? A lot of variables to sift though. The low hanging fruit to try would be if you can get a kit from a local store with the ability to return/refund it for whatever reason.
