H100i Platinum Fans ramping

Hi all,

I've been noticing that the fans of my AIO are ramping up from time to time.

Been checking temps, and it seems that the cooling liquid is about 42° C from time to time.

CPU temps seem normal, was wondering if there is something I could do? Or should I contact Corsair once again? (this is the second unit already)

If you are running from the one of the three presets (Quiet, Balanced, Performance), the fans will take a strong turn at 40C coolant temp. Whether or not that temperature is meaningful depends on your environment. If your room temp is 17C, hitting 40C on the coolant temp is a pretty big jump and represents a massive increase of wattage in the system. On the other hand, if it's Summer and your room temp is getting close to 30C, you'll hit 40C pretty much all the time and it is expected and normal. If the later is the current circumstance, you will want to start using your own curve adjusted for your environment. Go to the Performance tab +, and then select on of the shape tools from the upper right hand corner. You can now see and edit the control points.
