uhi765
I bought a USB front panel to install into my Corsair 750D case (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B9RNQ29/). Unfortunately, as you can see from this image, the device only projects 1/4 of the length of an optical drive. This seems to be the case for all similar 5.25in front panel devices. As a result the device does not click into the tool-free 5.25 bays of the 750D. The "tool-free" tabs also do not have a space to secure the device with screws. What can I do to secure this device to my case? I looked for some sort of caddy or sled but I can't seem to find anything that would help here (everything I can find is to convert one size to another, e.g., 3.5 to 5.25 etc.). Is the 750D simply not compatible with this relatively common form factor for 5.25 devices?! Thank you.

Uriel_Dagda
In case anyone runs into the same problem in the future, the following page has the solution that worked for me (given to me by a helpful redditor): https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=143357 I just came here to post the same problem AFTER I had figured out to get it to click in first-- but the locking mechanism is so weak that the force needed to push a USB device into the left most USB port caused it to fail and push in again. And it unfortunately looks like the locking mechanism of this case is riveted in for some asinine reason.
