BreakBubbles
I have posted here before and everyone was incredibly useful. My friend is building a computer and wants to add 3 RGB corsair fans at the front of his computer. He has a motherboard that is compatible with iCUE (ASUS TUF B360M-PLUS GAMING motherboard), and I was wondering if he would still need a commander pro in order to control his fan settings and RGB, or if there's a compatibility feature built into the motherboard? Thanks in advance.
c-attack
He will need a Commander Pro if he wants to control fan speed from iCUE. He will need a Lighting Controller + RGB hub to control fan lighting. The motherboards do not control the Corsair gear. With Asus, you can bring the basic board LED sections and 12v headers into iCUE control. Most of the three packs of 120s will have the necessary hardware for the lighting set-up. After that, its' whether or not he wants the fan speed control.
