Hello

Looking for some "advice".

I have the XG7 2080 FE rev.B waterblock and a 2070 Super EVGA i think its a black edition. Yes its compatible.

My question is; i assembled the block just fine but i noticed the thermal pads on the WATERBLOCK dont match the ones on the card. Specifically the the VRM, it covers the first row of sorry if im mistaken i think they are capacitor or inductor but DOES NOT cover the next 2 rows, Mofsets etc. The EVGA card has termal pads on these but the waterblock does not. Should i transfer over the EVGA thermal pads so they make contact with the waterblock before installing??

Hi!

Thermal pads on the water block cover the crucial components that require active cooling.

Do not leave any existing thermal pads on the PCB. Doing so may result in poor contact between the graphics card components and water block.
