Little confused/worried that my cooler is faulty. First build below are the cables that come from the CPU cooler. This isn't the cable that connects to the mobo but the ones that connect to the cables from the fans. Worried that one has 3 pins and the other only has 4 is this normal?

Yes, any PWM fan splitter will have one 4 pin connector with the tachometer wire and the other(s) will not. You only want one fan to report the speed back to the controller. Both fans will operate from the same PWM control signal and run approximately the same speed.

Hmm. I thought those looked a little flat in the picture. You have a H100i Platinum and those are lighting cables as mentioned. Corsair likes to use the same name over and over. The Platinum is different than a “H100i” or any of the 7 other coolers with that in the name.
