Commander Pro, RGB hub question

Hi - I'm having the following RGB problem:

Setup:

- 12 ML 120 fans. Each connected to an RGB fan hub. 6 fans per hub.

- Each RGB fan hub is connected into a Commander Pro

All fans spin and are completely controllable within iCUE.

But, only 10 of the fans will display RGB. I have tried the non-working fans on other systems and they work fine. I have switched out the RGB fan hub and tried a different one and have the same problem. My RGB fan hubs appear to work fine on other systems.

I'm starting to wonder if it is some configuration problem within iCUE ? Is there a limit to how many of the fans are addressable per Commander Pro?

Would an RGB fan splitter be recommended? or would that be stupid?

Trying swapping fan #4 with fan #6.

You see, the fans operate in series. Each fan send the signal to the next fan. So a fan can be bad - not passing the signal - but still light up. And I suspect that's the case here.

No tipping required. ;-)

Now ... so you know .. your (now) fan #6 is bad. It doesn't daisy chain the signal to the rest. You've got the issue mitigated by putting it at the end but it doesn't change the fact.

It's up to you if you want a replacement or not or if you can live with the workaround.
