Moley
Hello All, Got a bit of a Headache going on at the moment. Have just built the following : Abit KV8 Pro AMD 64 3400 2x512 XMS3200 For some reason my system will not let the 2 work togther. Either 512 works in a single bank but the system only registers 512 when they are in togther ? Ram1 = CMX512 3200C2PT XMS3202V1.5 0512147-0 CL2 Ram2 = CMX512 3200C2PT XMS3202V4.2 0510085-2 CL2 If any one could shed some light on the issue I would be most appricated ! CandyKid
Hello Moley! 1) The v5.1 module will only run CAS 2.5-3-3-6 on an AMD system and thus you'll have to run both modules at that rate. 2) You're mixing module revisions which could cause problems. However, it's kind of a wierd thing to come up like that... have you tried running only one module in each of the mainboard's memory slots? Maybe you have a bad DIMM slot and the modules have nothing to do with it! PLUR CK
