QL120 x9 Fan Setup + LED Strips

As I (im)patiently wait for the Corsair H150i Pro XT to stock, I felt that I should figure out how to connect all 9 QL 120s, 2 Lighting Node Cores, 1 Commander Pro, as well as the Corsair RGB LED strips together. Also, I don't have a Corsair PSU. Some of the diagrams I've seen on this forum seem to include some kind of USB connection coming from the PSU. This is what I have so far:

3 AIO QL120 fans - 3 RGB connectors into Core, 3 Power connectors into the 3 fan headers coming out of the pump itself.

6 QL120s into the other Core (I'll have two Cores as I'm purchasing two of the 3-pack bundles, as well as 3 single QL120s for a total of 9), and the 6 power connectors go into the 6 power headers in the Commander Pro.

Connect the two Cores to the Commander Pro via the 2 LED ports in the Commander Pro.

Connect SATA Power to both Cores, as well as the Commander Pro.

Connect the USB cable coming from the AIO pump into one of the two USB headers in the Commander Pro.

Connect the USB cable coming from the Commander Pro to one of the available USB headers on the motherboard.

This is where I'm stuck: the RGB LED strips. The two Cores take up both of the LED headers on the Commander Pro, so I'm not sure where I have to connect it in order to sync everything together.

Bold text is the wrong part.

The QL 3 fans pack comes with the Lighting Node Pro, not with the Lighting Node Core as LL 3 packs do.

Main difference is LNPs have USB connection, LNCs instead have a cable to be plugged in a LED port.

About the AIO... nobody has seen it so far, so it's hard to guess if it will have headers for both RPM and RGB cable... the H100i RGB PRO XT for example has only RPM headers.

Depending on the AIO layout, you'll be out of USB ports rather than LED ports... I have 10 QL fans in my rig but needed to pick up a USB Hub:

Hope it helps!

Maybe the QL 3 pack descriptions are wrong then? I'm looking at both Amazon and Corsair's site: "iCUE QL120 RGB 120mm PWM Triple Fan with Lighting Node CORE". And thanks for the response!

Sorry, my mistake... it's very easy to mistake those names...

LL 3 packs come with 1 RGB hub and 1 Lighting Node Pro. The first has a LED connection that can be plugged into LNP or CoPro.

QL 3 packs come with 1 Lighting Node Core, that has a USB cable. So we can say that LNC= RGB Hub + LNP.

I think I have it down now:

Both Cores connect to the CPro via the 2 USB headers, and the 4 RGB Strips connect directly to the CPro via the LED header. Basically, there's no need for the Lighting Node Pro now. So I'd have two USB connections plugged into the 2 USB headers my mobo has: 1 for the CPro, one for the AIO.

Good to see that Faq doing its job..... thanks for posting it Baio ;)... might be worth putting it in your Signature for further help you give.... saves you time explaining the same things over and over ;)...
