Mithrs
Running twinx set of CMX512-3200XL modules. After some stability problems I ran memtest and came up with errors. I tested one stick at a time and found the errors were isolated to one. I then tried that stick with less agressive timings and found that the errors persisted. I also tried an identical set of modules from another PC and came up clean, while the problem stick produced the same errors when installed in the other PC. I also tried adjusting the voltage as suggested in other threads here, no change. I'd like to get the RMA process rolling, but if there's something else I should try first I would be happy to cooperate. another user posed the question about returning a twinx set with a bad module and I wasn't clear about the answer. Assuming this does go to a return will I sed back the whole set or only the defective member of the pair? thanks
Wired
What CPU / FSB / Motherboard do you have? Fill out the RMA form for Module Part Number: TwinX(rest of part #) Module Quantity: 1 if/when an RMA is approved.
