iCue not recognizing my Asus Crosshair VI Hero

Good evening all!

I am trying to get my Asus Crosshair VI Hero to work with iCue. I have followed the guild of ensuring that Asus Aura is installed, but not launched. Thing is, when I install Aura, iCue no longer will launch/open for me until I uninstall it. I have also tried with the Armory Crate software from Asus as well.

I am using iCue version 3.28.70 and Aura version 1.07.79.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good Evning!

what a coincidence, i just tried the same.

I have the same motherboard, but i see it at iCue.

I'll explain what i done:

1º- unistall iCue and Aura.

2º- download iCue and Install:https://www.corsair.com/es/es/icue

3º- Close iCue

4º- Download and install Aura: https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/es/download.php

5º- enter at aura and turn of all RGB.

6º- close aura

7º- open iCue, you should have your motherboard as a device

If dosen't work try this:

extra step: https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/corsair-brings-icue-lighting-control-to-asus-motherboards.html

I can see it at iCue and configure, but the motherboard dosen't illuminate.

some ideas?

thank you

I know not ideal, but I had a new SSD coming anyways. Came today and I did a full system wipe and was able to get it working by following your steps provided upon reinstall. Only thing I did differently was NOT launch Aura and turn off RGB before. I just left it do its thing naturally and iCue works flawlessly with controlling it now.

Thanks you,

I have seen the issue. If you want the RGB off until the iCue comes to control it, you have to set on Aura, an static color wich is R=0, B=0 and G=0.

now I'm trying to configure as well my Asus ROG Gpu and G.Skill RAM to work combine with the motherboad. I will try out to make it throw Jacknet RGB Sync Software.

I hope that corsair implements that function in iCue.

regards
