man1ac
Hi guys, Recently I purchased a single Corsair SP120 RGB Pro to add to my system and since my motherboard has an RBG header (ASUS TUF H310M plus gaming) I assumed I could plug in the fan to it. However the fan is lighting up only blue and some shades of green. Is it possible to find some sort of adaptor (or change the pinout) to solve this without buying unnecessary hubs for just 1 fan? Regards, Malcolm
c-attack
You need to take that off immediately. Those are not compatible connectors and you cannot connect any Corsair RGB fan directly to most motherboards. Take a look at the guide below. You need a lighting controller and power system, even for just one fan. That's a hard sell for one. https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880 Edited May 2, 2020 by c-attack
