Bahumbug
Hi All I have a relatively new build ( 2 months old ) in a 500D and for some reason the commander pro and RGB hub are in a really weird position. As can be seen in the pic here. https://ibb.co/cL4HRvj The hub is in a really annoying place as it limits the routing I can do as its right below one of the entrance to the metal shroud for cable routing. I also have tons of space off to the left of the pic where I want to place it/ the commander pro. I have looked at other pics and no other 500Ds seems to have it in the same position. I have tried shifting it and it seems pretty well stuck down and I don't want to tear it off/ break it. Any advice on removing it so I can move it? Thanks :) Edited April 20, 2020 by Bahumbug
Salsiccia
A heat gun waved at the back of the plate where the CoPro was installed on my 500D and it popped right off !

Salsiccia
Perfect timing :-) Start with it on the low heat, don't crank it up as you don't want to burn it - you just need to warm it enough to loosen the glue.
ZeusyZeus
Really? That’s odd I just got my 500D SE today and it’s in the exact same configuration. I also agree it’s super annoying and even my RGB cables from rear fan won’t reach the RGB HUB
