Hi, I need to get my ram RMA'd. Windows randomly blue screens with memory errors when I run these sticks. I have replaced them with another pair of PC3200 ram and that has since alleviated the problem. The specs on them are as follows:

2x 512MB PC3200

VS512MB400C3

LOT# 0425044-0

System:

Abit AN7 (latest bios)

Athlon XP Barton 3000+

200GB Seagate 7200rpm hdd

Ati Radeon 9800 Pro

Bios stats:

Nothing overclocked

CPU FSB - 200

RAM FSB - 200

Running dual channel

Ram timings: 3,3,3,8

Please get back to me ASAP.

-Greg

That would suggest some other problem.

Can you tell me theCPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

When I replace these sticks of ram with another set of 3200 ram and the problem goes away, to me that indicates it's the ram which is bad...

Here are the bios stats you requested:

Nothing overclocked

CPU FSB - 200

RAM FSB - 200

Running dual channel

Ram timings: 3,3,3,8
