DeathlySalt Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 iCUE has caused discord sounds to be delayed. I know this because when I uninstalled iCUE the problem went away but came right back when I reinstalled it, im using a corsair void pro headset and k55 keyboard with the software right now. I wish to use the presets with the software but it is causing issues with discord. Any help? Ive heard this is a known bug for a long time now.
Le Nain Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Just stating that I have the same problem than you (and all the others on the discord support thread, which I had found before coming here), in case that helps bumping the issue to the top. My headset is the void pro wireless. Whenever I unplug the wireless dongle, no more delay on discord.
RHBH Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 (edited) I have the same issue with Discord, delayed sounds whenever iCue drivers/wireless dongle inserted. Headset: Corsair HS70 Pro Windows 10 Pro 64 bits, version 2004 (build 19041.329) iCUE version: 3.30.97 Discord version: Stable 63252 (7138483) A temporary fix is to run Discord in compatibility mode with Windows 7 or Windows 8. Mr Mcgoo Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 I noticed the discord sound lag but seeing this i to found it to be icue. thought as did many it was a discord issue. hope this gets fixed soon :)
Willow73 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I fixed it today for me by launching Discord in Windows 7 compatibility mode and change it in the startup section of the taskmanager too, if you've configured that.
MehEmojiVEVO Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 The "solution" works but breaks features in Discord and creates a white bar at the top of the app. I'm sick of updating ICue only to get a new list of bugs to workaround or live with because the devs never seem to fix anything. Corsair please fire your Icue devs and hire new ones.
