Bosco Boots Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Doing my first build and can't install RAM because corsair fans are in the way. PC Part Picker and other sources said everything was compatible. Baio Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 I've read this post twice or 3 times... but I really can't understand where the problem is. Can you post a photo? Baio
jamie1073 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 If you are trying to top mount it there may be an issue with how close the RAM is to the CPU fans, I assume that is what you are talking about. I had the same issues with one of my cases and a top mount AIO, what I did was I bought a Noctua slim fan to replace one of my AIO fans and clear the RAM better. But I have since got a newer case and mount my 280mm H115i Plat in the front of the case. Just made things easier and allowed me to set it up in a Push/Pull config. So if the top mount does not work then switch to a front mount.
