1990.kenneth Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Dear all, I intend to purchase the LG OLED C9 (65inches) for HDR movies and gaming. The intention for this particular TV is that it is able to use G-sync as it features a HDMI 2.1 output. However, I came to learn that my Corsair one i160 only has HDMI 2.0a and now I question if this will work. Do anyone know anything about this?
Corsair Employee Corsair CJ Posted April 3, 2020 Corsair Employee Posted April 3, 2020 To my knowledge VRR/G-SYNC over HDMI was done with an NVIDIA driver update as the RTX 20-series cards ship with HDMI 2.0a ports. Make sure you're using the latest graphics driver and determine what settings for the TV and any TV firmware updates (if any) need to be applied for this to work.
