2070 Super - Will Rev. B Block Fit?

I've found a post that was somewhat similar, but didn't quite answer my question due to conflicting information.

 

I'm trying to figure out if the Rev. B block will work with my GPU. The "Cooling Configurator" states I need a 2080 FE block. The post I read says "if Rev. A fit, Rev. B will fit". Since Rev. B block is the only one in stock, I figured I'd check the "Compatibility" tab in the store page, and it states it WILL NOT fit my card.

 

So, needless to say, I'm confused and would like clarification on whether Rev. B will work with my card or not before I purchase it.

Hi,

 

If a 2080 FE block is compatible with your graphics card model, then the 2080 FE Rev. B will also fit.

 

2080 FE Rev. B GPU water block has a small modification on the black cover part which makes it compatible with more graphics card models compared to the 2080 FE GPU water block.

Functionality and performance are identical.

 

Currently, the compatibility information is limited to one compatible water block not to create additional confusion.
