Wrong layout in iCUE with Lenovo Y740 17" - <>, ENTER and #(DE)/*(FR) keys missing

Hi everyone,

 

Another user and I have the same issue with iCUE and our Lenovo Y740 laptops: our devices are detected as US QWERTY when they're not (their layout is German QWERTZ, mine is French AZERTY).

For that reason, as soon as we open the software, three keys won't light up and are unavailable (photos attached)

 

We both have created threads on the Lenovo forums and I have contacted the Lenovo support personally numerous times, every time to no avail.

 

Other people have had a similar issue in the past but it was solved after a Corsair employee took their information and seemingly communicated with Lenovo for a fix: https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=183563

 

I think we both really hope this can be fixed in the same manner for us as well, as this is a really bothering issue.
