Number 4 key on top row not working

I have a wired K95 RGB Platinum keyboard. I have one key which is the number "4" on the top row that does not execute when pressed. All other keys work correctly. The number does have lighting effects as it should. I have downloaded the latest firmware. There has been no damage to the keyboard. I'm unsure what caused the key to suddenly stop working or how to fix the problem. I use this key extensively as a keybind while gaming so I would like to try to fix it if at all possible.

Try the soft reset below as it can be done in 15 seconds. Obviously if the mechanical switch has failed or there is a physical problem, this won't help.

If it does not work, go ahead and contact Corsair Tech Support now. The next step would be hard reset and they have the firmware file. It also will be necessary if the keyboard has to replaced. the Support Ticket System link is in the header at the top of this page.
