enimateK
Hi, I have a set of Corsair TwinX 1GB DDR (2x512MB) XMS3200XL PRO, my system will only boot with 1 of the modules installed, but not the other one. I have tried them in every combination possible on my motherboard but if the none working one is installed (by itself or with both modules) the system fails the memory test when booting. This is my system spec: Targan 480W PSU Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Amd 64 3200 (winchester) 3x Maxtor 160gig Sata All my BIOS memory settings are set to default

enimateK
I have just looked at your registered sellers list and the website that i bought the RAM from does not appear to be on it. Does this mean that i wouldn't be able to return the memory even if you decide its faulty? the website is http://www.tekheads.co.uk
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 6, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 6, 2005 Should not be an issue as long as you purchased them from a reseller. And with these modules the minimum suggested voltage would be 2.75 Volts, so please go to bios setup and set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org. enimateK
I have set my BIOS so that the memory has 2.8 Volts. The module that was working still works. The other one still fails the memory test on startup so i cant run the memtest program on it
