multibit
Hi, My system has the following spec ASUS K8V-X M/B Athlon 64 3200+ 1gb Corsair (2 x vs512mb400c3 matched pair) Inno3d 6600GT video card Q-tec 650w tripple fan supply I've had this setup for a couple of months now and its always seemed to run slow especially when first loading up windows XP. I'm using the latest bios from ASUS. A friend suggested it could be a problem with the memory so I have run memtest98 and no errors show up I've not changed any bios setting apart from loading the system defalt on bios ECC configuration has the following underneath Memory CLK : 166MH CAS Latency : 3.0 TRCD : 3 CLK TRAS : 6 CLK TRP : 3 CLK Is there anything in bios that needs to be altered etc to help make my system run better? I'm a newbie regarding PC's so any help would be much appreciated Kind Regards Leo
