notgeorge
My setup as following: CPU: AMD 3950x MB: Gigabyte x570 master Case: 570x RGB Cooler: H150i Pro 360mm 1 Corsair LL120 RGB 120mm Dual Light Loop rear mount fan 2 Corsair LL140 RGB 140mm Dual Light Loop top mount fan 6 front fans (push and pull): 3 RGB fans that came with the 570x and 3 fans on the H150i Pro radiator (these 3 are not RGB fans) As you can see all 6 ports are occupied on the RGB controller hub. All 6 fans have power, but one is only half-lit and it's plugged into port #6; only port #6 has this problem. I swapped the plugs around on the RGB controller hub. Fully lit fans to port #6, the fan from port #6 to a working fan port, such as #5 or #4. The results are: the RGB fans are fine and the LEDs are working; however, only have white lights for the top-mounted & rear-mounted fans. Front case fans that came with the 570x case can change colors. :!: I thought it might be software related. I installed iCUE, but I can only see the CPU cooler and the PSU under "Devices" in iCUE. When I click on the + on the Dashboard tab, I don't see RGB fans. What am I missing here or not doing right? Corsair even sent me a 2nd RGB controller hub, still... no luck. Please help, thank you! DevBiker
You can't have LL fans and SP-RGB fans (that come with the 570X) on the same fan hub. Not sure why Corsair would have sent you a second controller hub (RGB Fan LED Hub) - that's not the problem here. Check out the RGB FAQ in my signature. notgeorge
Thanks for the reply. Maybe I ask what are the 3 extra ports on the RGB controller that came with the case for? Do I need another device to work with the LL fans? Can this device work with the case fan and LL fans?
DevBiker
They are for additional SP-RGB Fans. While mixing fan types on a single channel/fan hub isn't supported, you can make it work with most fans EXCEPT For the SP-RGB fans. They use a completely different control protocol than the rest of the RGB devices. So you'll need a Lighting Node Pro and additional fan hub, at least. These come with the LL fan multipack. This is all explained in detail and with diagrams in the RGB FAQ that I already recommended. Please review that.
notgeorge
I am still within the return window for these LL fans. I guess I can return the LL fans and get the SP fans. These guys right?
