JonKrmr
The water block of your HC 200 will work with socket 939 cpu's. However, you will need the retension bracket for the Athlon 64 cpu since the retension mechanism is different than that of the socket 478, 775 or socket A. The HC 200 only came with the bracket for socket 478 and socket A cpu's. Check the posts here as I believe there has been much talk about how and where to get the Athlon 64 retension bracket. watkins
Well.. If i only plan on cooling the CPU and the CPU will be minorly overlocked will I run into any cooling issues with the HC200?
JonKrmr
The HC 200 should cool just the CPU even if it is a little overclocked just fine. A Athlon 64 3200+ slightly overclocked should be in the low 100's watt heat output.
