neutronium
I have two sticks of VS512MB400C3 lot 0434100-0 I'm using a Gigabyte k8ns 939 with an athlon 64 3000+ One of the sticks passes memtest fine but the other gets errors within 10 seconds. How do I go about getting a replacement?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 28, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 28, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem, and I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure. neutronium
Sorry I wasn't clearer. I was testing them one at a time and only one was getting errors. I upped the voltage as well as slowing the timings and still got errors. So I guess I need to send it in. Thanks
