program114
I'm having problems with the new Corsair 1GB and 2GB CF cards in my Kodak DCS Pro SLR/c. The cards are formatted to FAT16 from windows (and I've tried to format the cards from the camera too) but I still get error messages from the camera after I take a picture: "There was a error. The image was not recorded." This card DOES work, though, in my Canon D20. It seems to me that this might be a problem with the Kodak firmware. (I have the latest version from their webpage) Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas about how to fix it? Thanks in advance!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 4, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 4, 2005 Are you able to format the card from your KODAK camera? And can you see the drive in other camers with out problem?
program114
I can format the card from the Kodak camera using the 'quick' method. (The 'secure' method fails everytime). The card does work perfectly in other cameras. (i've tried a Canon and a HP). Thanks for your help!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 11, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 11, 2005 Let's try replacing the drive. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
