So basically my fans go crazy in the quiet settings in the corsair icue software.

I use 6x HD120 in the 570 Crystal Case. They are connected with the Commander Pro.

Is there a way to fix this without doing a custom curve ?

No, the default variable is CPU Temperature, the only thing every system is guarantied to have. However, it is a completely unsuitable control variable on any recent CPU model as the processor behavior has become continuously dynamic.

However, since the entire point of a Commander Pro is to have desktop software control over your fans, make a custom curve. Use any other variable except CPU temp. Quick and easy solutions are GPU temp or coolant temperature (H1xx temp) if you have a Corsair cooler. The more refined approach is to use the temp probes that come with the Commander Pro to set up fan behavior based on specific air temp readings. That is what your case fans really do. They don't actually cool your CPU or GPU. However, that does take some observation and effort but worthwhile since temp probe based curves work all the time and without the software running.
