Scorptec Posted March 23, 2005 Share Posted March 23, 2005 All systems that leave with me are memory tested, i currently have a problem with the P5AD2 Delx motherboard as the VS1gig pack. Specs: P5AD2 Deluxe (latest bios 1007) Antec 480watt PSU VS1GBKIT533D2 Ram Tested in the Yellow Slots Tried ram at (SPD Bgin 5,4,4,15) SPD 1.7v Failed SPD 1.8v Failed SPD 1.9v Failed SPD 2.0v Failed Tried ram at 4,4,4,12 SPD 1.7v Failed SPD 1.8v Failed SPD 1.9v Failed SPD 2.0v Failed Tested in the Black slots Tried ram at (SPD Bgin 5,4,4,15) SPD 1.7v Failed SPD 1.8v Failed SPD 1.9v Failed SPD 2.0v Failed Tried ram at 4,4,4,12 SPD 1.7v Failed SPD 1.8v Failed SPD 1.9v Failed SPD 2.0v Failed Single sticks As above Now the problem is it fails in the same spot each time. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 23, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 23, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and if you do indeed find one failing then I would agree let's try replacing the failing module. However, if you get the same errors with both modules testing them one up that would suggest some other problem, and I would try testing them in another system if you can.
